This page contains examples of some materials I have created for training or instructional purposes.
UAccess Student Center Practice Area
The following Storyline project was created for the University of Arizona Registrar's Office. It contains a nearly comprehensive sandbox environment of the UAccess (Oracle PeopleSoft) Student Information System - Student Center and five sub-projects embedded within. (Open in new window.)
UAccess Student Smart Planner
This Storyline project depicts the major functionality of the University's new Smart Planner, a tool for students to audit, maintain, and update their academic plans. It tracks completion of sub-modules internally and, when connected to UAccess Learning, the University's non-academic learning management system, externally. (Open in new window.)
University of Arizona Design Documentation
I created the following documentation to provide those less familiar with the design process a kind of template and best-practices reference in order to ensure their materials functioned properly with the LMS.
Slack: A Primer
This is a video tutorial I created for my students using Adobe Captivate. We use Slack as our synchronous and asynchronous discussion forum. As most students had never used it before my classes, I felt an introductory video was called for.
Video tutorial: Lync 2010 for Windows
I was tasked with creating a brief walkthrough of the (then) new version of Lync. This was an accompanyment to the Outlook 2010 training workshop I held frequently.
Video tutorial: Lync 2011 for Mac
This is a similar video created for Mac users of Lync 2011.
Feel free to look at a sample project document used in my ETCV/INFV 401 -- Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction class and watch the recording of a week from my ETCV/INFV 405 -- Introduction to Serious Game Design course.
